Congratulations to all of the HAFS students who participated in the 7th Korea Public Speaking Championship and World Individuals Qualifier this past Saturday. The event was hosted by HAFS for the first time and we welcomed students from eight other schools: Ann Thompson Academy, Bugil Academy, GAFL, KIS, KMLA, CSIA, Daewon FLHS, Gwacheon FLHS
The following HAFS students had especially outstanding results:
Hyun Thur Cho - Qualified for WIDPSC 2013 Team Korea, 1st place Oratory, 1st place Debate
DaEun Baik - 1st alternate for WIDPSC, Overall Finalist, 1st place Interpretive Reading
Gaon Kim - 2nd alternate for WIDPSC, Overall Finalist, 1st place Interpretive Reading
Hyung Seok Ryu - 2nd place After-Dinner Speech
Good luck to Hyun Thur Cho as he prepares for World Individuals in South Africa next April!
