제 4회 국립 역사의 날 행사 공지사항
1. 대회 일자: 2015.02.14
2. 장소: 용인 한국외국어대학교 부설 고등학교
(자세한 장소는 추후 참가들에게 공지될 예정입니다)
3. 참가 자격: 한국 또는 일본에 재학중인 모든 중고등학생
4. 참고 사항
A. 모든 행사는 영어로 진행되며 출품작 또한 영어로 제출되어야 합니다
B. 모든 부문에 대한 출품작은 “리더십과 역사적 유산”이라는 테마와 관련되어야 하며, 조사에 사용된 일, 이차적 자료는 참고문헌을 통해 제출되어야 합니다
C. 고등부의 경우 모든 부문에서 두 팀씩, 중등부의 경우 모든 부문에서 한 팀씩 미국 Washington D.C에서 열리는 NHD 대회 참가 자격을 얻게 됩니다
D. 참가 학교의 경우 세 팀 당 교사 한 명을 심사위원으로 보내 주셔야 합니다
5. 참가 부문:
A. 연구 논문
- 개인참가자만 가능
- 최대 2500자
- 심사를 위해 대회 몇 주전까지 제출되어야 합니다 (제출일은 추후 공지됩니다)
- 참고 문헌과 조사과정 보고서도 논문과 함께 제출되어야 합니다
B. 다큐멘터리
- 개인 또는 5명 이내의 그룹으로 참가 가능
- 최대 10분
- 심사를 위해 대회 몇 주전까지 제출되어야 합니다 (제출일은 추후 공지됩니다)
- 참고 문헌과 조사과정 보고서도 함께 제출되어야 합니다
C. 연극
- 개인 또는 5명 이내의 그룹으로 참가 가능
- 최대 10분
- 대회 당일에 공연 후 심사됩니다
- 참고 문헌과 조사과정 보고서도 함께 제출되어야 합니다
D. 웹사이트
- 개인 또는 5명 이내의 그룹으로 참가 가능
- 최대 1200자 이내로 웹사이트에서 글을 작성 가능
- 심사를 위해 대회 몇 주전까지 제출되어야 합니다 (제출일은 추후 공지됩니다)
- 참고 문헌과 조사과정 보고서도 함께 제출되어야 합니다
E. 전시
- 개인 또는 5명 이내의 그룹으로 참가 가능
- 대회 당일 인터뷰 후에 최종으로 평가됩니다
- 참고 문헌과 조사과정 보고서도 함께 제출되어야 합니다
- 대회 당일 날 준비된 물품들을 박물관 스타일의 형식으로 전시해주시길 바랍니다

A. 관련 학교 선생님 한 분께서 학교 단위로 접수를 해주시기 바랍니다
B. eimoberg@gmail으로 연락을 주시면 이메일을 통해 접수 양식을 보내드릴 예정입니다
C. 접수는 12월 5일까지 마감이며 참가비는 5만원입니다 (점심과 티셔츠 비용은 참가비에 포함됩니다)
4th National History Day Announcement
1. Date: February 14th, 2015
2. Venue: Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies
(Participants will later be notified of specific locations)
3. Participant Qualification: All events are open for both high school and middle school students.
4. About the Competition:
2015 Theme: Leadership and Legacy
Entries for all events must relate to the theme of “Leadership and Legacy in History” and demonstrate historical analysis and use of primary and secondary sources. Up to two entries in each category may qualify for NHD Nationals in Washington D.C. in June of 2015. Only one entry will qualify in the middle school division and two entries will qualify in the high school division.
Students may participate in one of the following events:
a) research paper
- individual only
- 2,500 words maximum
- due several weeks before the event to allow for judging
- must include annotated bibliography
b) dramatic performance
- 1 to 5 students
- 10 minute maximum
- Performed on the day of the event
- Must include annotated bibliography and process paper
c) documentary film
- 1 to 5 students
- 10 minute maximum
- Due several weeks before the event to allow for judging
- Must include annotated bibliography and process paper
c) website
- 1 to 5 students
- 1,200 student-written word maximum
- Due several weeks before the event to allow for judging
- Must include annotated bibliography and process paper
d) exhibit
- 1 to 5 students
- Physically display documents and images in a museum-style exhibit
- Evaluated after an interview on the day of the event
- Must include annotated bibliography and process paper
5. Registration
a. Registration is only done through schools. Teachers must send an email to
eimoberg@gmail.com to request for registration forms.
b. For every three entries, a school must send one teacher to judge.
c. Registration fee is \50,000 for each participant. (This includes lunch and T-shirt) The deadline for registration and entry fees is December 5th.
